Abrankor stool and Nsona Royal family unsatisfied with the conduct of Omanhene in the Abura Traditional Area
The Abrankor Stool and Nsona Royal Family have registered their displeasure against the conduct of Omanhene of Abura Traditional Area in recent times, which the family wants to distance itself from.

In an engagement with the media Ebusuapayin Ekow Sam Breniu, leader of the family, said Nana Otu XI, Omanhene of Abura Traditional Area (OATA), had initiated the wholesale and indiscriminate sale of stool lands to cooperating bodies and other developers without regard to the family.

Hence, the family wants to make it clear that anyone or group of people who have purchased said lands should advise themselves for peace to prevail.
Then again, the family claimed the OATA had described the stool room by allowing thugs to break into it, which had led to gross disrespect to the ancestors, complete embarrassment, and needed purification.

Another area he said needed purification is the royal museum, where the OATA allowed
authorized person’s entry and disregarded “Baamu,” who are by custom the legitimate people to enter the museum.

The family also pointed out that the OATA has unilaterally demolished the old palace built over 400 years, which served as an antique and the pride of Aburaman.
By doing so, the family is calling on the Central Regional House of Chiefs to intervene and ensure there is absolute peace in the area.
The Abrankor Stool and Nsona Royal family comprise families at Abakrampa, Abura Dunkwa, Akropong, Kormaatse, Anomabo and Ampenyi
